Rev. Peter Watts

Regional Vice President

Peter Watts was born and raised in South Los Angeles. He is a graduate of Cal State Dominguez Hills where he received his B.A. in Mass Communications. He received his Master's of Education in Administration and Leadership degree from University of Phoenix. He just graduated from Fuller Seminary with his Masters in Theology in Spring 2017. His educational career began 18 years ago in LAUSD at Compton Ave Elementary School. He then taught for 7 years at a charter organization (ICEF Public Schools) where he also was the founding director of Thurgood Marshall Leadership Academy Middle School, a blended learning school. Peter ended his career at ICEF as the Director of Blended Learning where he developed a comprehensive and innovative approach to education for this organization. Peter pastors The Rock Church and is currently the Regional Vice President for World Impact West Coast Region. He has been married to his wife Didi Watts for 23 years and has three children Jasmin Anderson, Avery Watts, and Imani Watts. 

Michelle Milburn

regional Director of Operations

Michelle began her journey with World Impact-Chester Ministry in 1999 near Philadelphia, upon completing her final semester of college in Cairo, Egypt. She originally started as the girls’ volleyball coach after being transferred to the Los Angeles region. In 2005, she became the Principal in both the elementary and middle schools. She was then named Executive Director of Operations for the Western Region of World Impact in August of 2013.

West Coast Media Director

Carter handles all design, video, web and marketing related media for the West Coast. He also does some national work for World Impact. He received his training at University of Oregon's School of Journalism and Pasadena's Art Center College of Design. Carter first learned about World Impact while on a missions trip to Skid Row Los Angeles. He and 6 other friends went to film a documentary about homelessness and caring for the poor. While on the streets, they met Bob Engel, (a long time missionary at World Impact), and the rest is history!
