Greetings from the Co-Deans of the Sequoia Evangel School of Church Planting!

We are excited to offer our 2-1/2 day Boot Camp for those of you and your teams that are called to urban ministry in the most under-resourced and underserved communities in the city. Evangel is like no other Boot Camp training or assessment center that you will ever experience. We focus on contextualizing the Gospel in the communities where you serve. We would like to welcome you to Evangel 2018!

ABOUT SEQUOIA

Sequoia Evangel School Promo (English)

Promo Sequoia Escuela Evangelica (Español)

The third annual Sequoia Evangel CPS is officially sponsored and facilitated by World Impact and its partners. World Impact is an experienced missions organization with more than 25 years of urban church-planting experience in the U.S., and urban ministry experience of 46 years.

World Impact is a Christian missions organization committed to facilitating church-planting movements by evangelizing, equipping, and empowering the unchurched urban poor. Sequoia is a key strategy to this end. This church plant school is designed to instruct, coach, and charter church plant teams made of local pastors, church-planters, and church members in planting healthy, multiplying urban churches and renewing passion for building God's Kingdom in the city.

Designed over 2-1/2 days in the mountains at World Impact's Oaks Camp and Conference Center, participants can expect to experience great training, devotions, hospitality, coaching, worship, prayer, rest, refreshment and food. All of the church plant teams will go through the training and worship sessions together, and then break out into their own team-specific planning, praying, and strategizing sessions accompanied by a pair of experienced ministry coaches. By the end of the time, each team that completes all of the sessions satisfactorily will receive a charter for their church plant, a certificate of completion, and will be publicly commissioned with the others.

If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Robert Vasquez at rvasquez@worldimpact.org or Cedric Nelms at cnelms@worldimpact.org.
