Empowering Urban Christian Leaders

As an urban missions organization, World Impact has been serving in under-resourced urban areas of San Diego for over 40 years. Our focus is to empower urban Christian leaders. We are committed to facilitating church-planting movements by evangelizing, equipping and empowering urban leaders.

We do this through several initiatives including The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI), Evangel School of Urban Church Planting, our Associates Program, Incarceration 2 Incorporation (i2i) and Urban Leadership Retreats.

World Impact San Diego is asking the Lord for seven church plant teams to plant 14 churches by 2021. In addition to two established churches World Impact has helped plant, we currently have three Evangel School chartered teams planting churches in southeast San Diego, City Heights and downtown San Diego. We look to charter two more teams in the near future.
